![]() ![]() I have yet to come across an internet connected computer that was cheap enough to be able to take with me as I crawled below my caravan to sort out the sticking brakes, or be able to look at as I fished around the back of my fridge wondering why the gas will not light. Outfit: 1997 Bailey Ranger 470 4 Location: Argyll Scotland If the haynes is a flop, can anyone suggest an alternative?Or is it best to just stick here?I am in a couple of LandRover forums and I normally get all the info I need from them,or get pointed to where to access data. Ive had to use haynes books for years for vehicles as they are the cheapest option for data.real workshop manuals are only worth it if you work A LOT on one type.then they pay for themselves. The motor books have gone steadily downhill (they didnt start great!) as we are discouraged more and more from doing work ourelves by the nanny state. ![]() ![]() Whats the consensus on the Haynes manual?I had an o-l-d edition in the 80s-90s and it was pretty basic. What are the new editions like?Is there anything that cant be found here with real life experience and no vested interests?
